So what’s this all going to cost me?
Villa Rental
This price differs depending upon what time in the season that you want to rent the villa. Below is a table summarising the rental prices.
Now when we say 2-6 people that means extremely comfortably in the 2 double bedrooms and the twin room. This setup is ideal for couples who want a nice activity break away together. However, we have let the villa to larger groups before (up to around 10 starts to get cramped). There is a very large and comfortable L shaped Sofa in one of the lounges which can comfortably sleep an aditional 2 people. There is also the room leading out to the porch which two people can sleep in. Give us a call and let us know your plans and we’ll try to accomodate you.
You’ll see what the villa has to offer on the accomodation page, but we believe this is outstanding value for money for a group of avid mountain bikers. Imagine if you get 6 of your friends together.. it would only be 125 Euro’s each for a week at peak time. Dropping to just under 80 Euro’s per person per week at the lowest of the off peak season (that’s just under 12 Euro’s per day!).

Flight Costs
You’ll need to book your own flights from your start location to Malaga Airport in Southern Spain. While we aren’t in direct control of flight costs, we can give some indication of how much this is likely to cost. Malaga is an extremely popular route so the prices are always quite low. If you are travelling from the UK, from one of the London airports, the costs are typically between £40 to £90 per person. However, there are sometimes deals lower than that – flights for £1 are not impossible!
Car Hire
We suggest hiring a car as the villa is a few miles from the shops and you will probably want to buy food and drink during the week. You can usually just turn up during the off peak season and get a hire car at the airport. However, you will get a cheaper deal and avoid some of the risk by booking early. As an example, you are likely to pay around 300 Euro’s for a people carrier for a week. Many people do this and build their bikes at the airport (usually just a case of putting on the quick release wheels and screwing the handlebars back on). Then using their own rack (again built from the pieces transported to spain in the bike bag) they can easily transport 6 bikes and luggage to the villa.
If you want us to transport the bikes from the airport to the villa then we can arrange that for you at a small additional cost. We have a 7 seater 4 x 4 with a large roof cage suitable for transporting bikes to the villa. This means you can follow in comfort from the hire car and learn the route if this is your first time.
Other costs
Apart from the flight, car hire and villa rental there is very little extra cost. You will need to buy food and drink for the week from one of the local supermarkets. Restaurents in the nearest town are reasonably priced and if you want to go crazy one night there is the town of Fuengirola which has a number of large clubs and is only a taxi journey away. Bike rental is also cheap (I don’t have exact prices but you should expect a few tens of Euro’s) if you decide not to bring your own.
Summary
Let’s say you go off peak with a group of 4 people (taking your own bikes on the plane).. that would be approx £70 for the flight + bike transport, £60 each for the car hire and about £110 each for the 7 night villa rental. So a 7 day activity holiday in good weather will cost you about £240 per person. A complete bargain given the amazing mountain biking in the area and the quality of the accomodation!
